| A righteous man who walks
in his integrity -- How blessed are his sons after him.
Proverbs 20:7
To do righteousness and justice is desired
by the Lord rather than sacrifice.
Proverbs 21:3
Vindicate me, O Lord, for I have walked in my integrity, and
I have trusted in the Lord without wavering. Examine me, O Lord, and try me;
Test my mind and my heart. For Your lovingkindness is before my eyes, and I have
walked in Your truth.
Psalms 26:1-3
The integrity of the upright will guide
them, but the falseness of the treacherous will destroy
them. Riches do not profit in the day of wrath, but righteousness
delivers from death. The righteousness of the blameless
will smooth his way, but the wicked will fall by his own
wickedness.
Proverbs 11:3-5
O Lord, who may abide in Your tent?
Who may dwell on Your holy hill? He who walks with integrity,
and works righteousness, and speaks truth in his heart.
He does not slander with his tongue, nor does evil to his
neighbor, nor takes up a reproach against his friend; In
whose eyes a reprobate is despised, but who honors those
who fear the Lord; He swears to his own hurt and does not
change; He does not put out his money at interest, nor
does he take a bribe against the innocent. He who does
these things will never be shaken.
Psalms 15:1-5
He who is faithful in a very little
thing is faithful also in much; and he who is unrighteous
in a very little thing is unrighteous also in much.
Luke 16:10
Do not let kindness and truth leave you;
bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of
your heart. So you will find favor and good repute in the
sight of God and man.
Proverbs 3:3-4
Though He slay me, I will hope in
Him. Nevertheless I will argue my ways before Him. Behold
now, I have prepared my case; I know that I will be vindicated.
Job 13:15, 18
Let your eyes look directly ahead
and let your gaze be fixed straight in front of you. Watch
the path of your feet and all your ways will be established.
Do not turn to the right nor to the left; Turn your foot
from evil.
Proverbs 4:25-27
Lying lips are an abomination to
the Lord, but those who deal faithfully are His delight.
Proverbs 12:22
A man's discretion makes him slow
to anger, and it is his glory to overlook a transgression.
Proverbs 19:11
Zaccheus stopped and said to the
Lord, "Behold, Lord, half of my possessions I will
give to the poor, and if I have defrauded anyone of anything,
I will give back four times as much." And Jesus said
to him, "Today salvation has come to this house, because
he, too, is a son of Abraham."
Luke 19:8-10
Do not judge so that you will not be
judged. For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and
by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you.
Why do you look at the speck that is in your brother's
eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?
Or how can you say to your brother, "Let me take the
speck out of your eye," and behold, the log is in
your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of
your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the
speck out of your brother's eye.
Matthew 7:1-5
But the path of the righteous is like
the light of dawn, that shines brighter and brighter until
the full day.
Proverbs 4:18
My lips certainly will not speak unjustly,
nor will my tongue mutter deceit. Far be it from me that
I should declare you right; Till I die I will not put away
my integrity from me. I hold fast my righteousness and
will not let it go. My heart does not reproach any of my
days.
Job 27:4-6
He who walks righteously and speaks with
sincerity; He who rejects unjust gain and shakes his hands
so that they hold no bribe; He who stops his ears from
hearing about bloodshed and shuts his eyes from looking
upon evil; He will dwell on the heights, His refuge will
be the impregnable rock; His bread will be given him, His
water will be sure.
Isaiah 33:15-16
Listen to me, you who pursue righteousness,
who seek the Lord: Look to the rock from which you were
hewn and to the quarry from which you were dug.
Isaiah 51:1
My son, if you will receive my sayings
and treasure my commandments within you, make your ear
attentive to wisdom, incline your heart to understanding;
For if you cry for discernment, lift your voice for understanding;
If you seek her as silver and search for her as for hidden
treasures; Then you will discern the fear of the Lord and
discover the knowledge of God. For the Lord gives wisdom;
From his mouth come knowledge and understanding. He stores
up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those
who walk in integrity, Guarding the paths of justice, And
he preserves the way of His godly ones. Then you will discern
righteousness and justice and equity and every good course.
