| The LORD is my light and
my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the defense of my life;
Whom shall I dread? When evildoers came upon me to devour my flesh,
my adversaries and my enemies, they stumbled and fell. Though a host
encamp against me, My heart will not fear; Though war arise against
me, in spite of this I shall be confident. One thing I have asked from
the LORD, that I shall seek: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD
all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD and to meditate
in His temple. For in the day of trouble He will conceal me in His
tabernacle; in the secret place of His tent. He will hide me; He will
lift me up on a rock. And now my head will be lifted up above my enemies
around me, and I will offer in His tent sacrifices with shouts of joy;
I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the LORD.Hear, O LORD, when
I cry with my voice, and be gracious to me and answer me. When You
said, "Seek My face,' my heart said to You, 'Your face, O LORD,
I shall seek."Do not hide Your face from me, do not turn Your
servant away in anger; You have been my help; do not abandon me nor
forsake me, O God of my salvation! For my father and my mother have
forsaken me, but the LORD will take me up. Teach me Your way, O LORD,
And lead me in a level path Because of my foes. Do not deliver me over
to the desire of my adversaries, for false witnesses have risen against
me, and such as breathe out violence. I would have despaired unless
I had believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD in the land
of the living. Wait for the LORD; be strong and let your heart take
courage; yes, wait for the LORD.
Psalms 27:1-14
Be strong and let your heart take courage,
all you who hope in the LORD.
Psalms 31:24
Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You
will stretch forth Your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and Your right
hand will save me.

So the ransomed of the LORD will return
and come with joyful shouting to Zion, and everlasting joy
will be on their heads. They will obtain gladness and joy,
and sorrow and sighing will flee away.

Do not let your heart be troubled; believe
in God, believe also in Me.
John 14:1
Peace I leave with you; My peace I give
to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let
your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful.
John 14:27
We are afflicted in every way, but not
crushed; perplexed, but not despairing; persecuted, but not
forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed.

good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary.

that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until
the day of Christ Jesus.
Philippians 1:6
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication
with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God,
which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ
Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is
right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there
is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.
Philippians 4:6-8
Therefore, do not throw away your
confidence, which has a great reward. For you have need of
endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you
may receive what was promised.
Hebrews 10:35-36
In this you greatly rejoice, even
though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been
distressed by various trials, so that the proof of your faith,
being more precious than gold which is perishable, even though
tested by fire, may be found to result in praise and glory
and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ; and though you
have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not see
Him now, but believe in Him, you greatly rejoice with joy
inexpressible and full of glory, obtaining as the outcome
of your faith the salvation of your souls.
